The products have many plus points and these must be visible at first glance. To do this, we have created around 10 buttons highlighting the particular plus points of the different products.
A list of animal silhouettes also makes it possible to quickly identify for which species each product is suitable.
The classification tree has been built in the form of separate silos to create an enriched home page with product categories, top-selling products and the latest blog posts for each animal species.
An internal navigation menu makes it possible to navigate between the different categories of the store within the current species.
Finally, the main menu allows users to switch from one species to another and access the various generic pages such as promotions, news and the contact page.
Two specific features required special attention.
- On their old platform, B.A.M.M. Paris had to create variations within the same product for each packaging option, which made stock management too complicated because it was not managed globally.
To make this easier, we have added support for weight-managed inventory with manageable packaging levels.
- When products in stock and pre-ordereditems are purchased, the customer has the possibility of choosing whether theywould like to group the delivery and receive everything when the pre-ordered item(s) is available or to have two separate deliveries, in which case they can choose their transport option independently.
